Back Plastic Injection Mold Designer - Pontian

Responsibilities include:

• Part feasibility, risk identification and resolution proposals.
• Design and modelling of injection molds; mold layout, cooling, ejection and detail designs.
• Understanding and interpreting mold filling simulations and cooling analyses.

The candidate:

• Must be an experienced designer with demonstrated talent and capability in the design of plastic injection molds.
• Should have be a strong grasp of the function of all aspects of an injection mold, as well as familiarity with standard manufacturing and fabrication.
• He/she must be an excellent communicator and thrive in a high-energy, quick moving and interdisciplinary workplace.

Minimum Required Experience:

• Creating prepare DFM for meeting with customer.
• Demonstrated talent and track record as a tool designer.
• Experience using NX.Software.
• Broad knowledge of standard mold components.
• Efficient using Microsoft products; outlook, excel, powepoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

• BS in plastic or engineering field or equivalent in dependent and experience.
• 5 years in Tool Designer role in production and R & D environments.
• mold flow software knowledge: fill, pack, cooling & warp analyses.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills.
